I came across these pictures on Facebook (no surprise there!!!) and thought I would share with you.
This picture was on Facebook. Apparently every time it is posted to people’s profile it is taken down. This woman had breast cancer and had a double mastectomy. This is a beautiful work of art. Don’t you agree?
Check out this Facebook page – it has fantastic pictures ! Click this link to go to the 1,000,000 Artists page.
Here are a few examples.
It is 1:00 p.m. and normally I would be at work but I called in sick today. For anyone who knows me they know if I call in sick, that means that I AM sick. I don’t call in sick even when I am sick usually. Yesterday I woke up and my nose was all stuffed up and I couldn’t breathe through it and I had such a rotten headache all day. I just took it easy, read, watched television, laid on the bed with Scooter for company in the evening.
This morning my alarm rang at 6:30 a.m. and I just still felt so tired and I sat up and my head was still aching so I called in sick and went back to sleep. I woke up about noon and took a shower, had a coffee and took more head/sinus cold medicine. So far so good, just have to keep taking the pills. Too bad I have to work tonight though :( Oh well, it is only 3 1/2 hours so I am sure I can make it through.
I have been told I have a different sense of humour. What most people think are funny movies, I find just plain stupid.
This is an example of what I think is funny. It is not in English but as they say a picture says a thousand words.

I love to read. Ever since I was a child I loved to read. I can sit and read a whole book if it is interesting enough and if I had the time. Both my daughters share my love of reading too and I hope my granddaughters like to read also.
I went from books to my first ereader – the Kobo. Then I got the Kobo Vox and it was great until it started to freeze on me and I lost everything and had to go back to factory settings.
Then I found the true love for my hobby – THE IPAD !!!! It is fantastic. Not only does it download books from the library nice and fast using Overdrive, it is so much better to play games on. It could almost replace my laptop but not quite.
I have tons of books I probably will never read. A friend keeps asking me why I borrow books from the library when I have tons already in my Kobo app and in the Kindle app. YES, I said Kindle. Somehow I once clicked on something and get a daily email from Book Bub and it lets you download free books from Amazon.com Be sure you go to .com If you go to Amazon .ca you will not be able to download free books from the .ca site. Even if it says do you want to switch from Amazon.com to Amazon.ca DO NOT DO IT !!! You won’t get the free books.
You are never alone when you have a book whether it be a read old fashioned paper book or a book on an electronic reader. You can lose yourself in the book and time just flies by.
